PSV Eindhoven wonderkid Mohammed Ihattaren is not ready to make a choice between Netherlands and Morocco.

The 17-year-old is now part of the PSV first team and that has started speculation over his international future.

Currently a part of Netherlands U19 side, Ihattaren has spoken with Ronald Koeman about his future in Oranje but is not yet ready to rule out a future with Morocco.

He told NOS about the talks with Koeman, “It was a conversation that left me feeling good.

“I am talking about it with my father, mother and brothers, but the final choice will come at a later time. I am now fully focused on PSV and now with the Oranje squad under 19 for the Elite Round games.

Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman revealed that he has spoken with Mohammed Ihattaren, who is also being courted by Morocco.

The 17-year-old has broken into the PSV Eindhoven first-team this season and is seen as one of Netherlands top talents. However, Morocco want the midfielder to pick the Atlas Lions over Oranje.

Speaking at his press conference on Monday, Koeman confirmed that he spoke with Ihattaren over his international future before Morocco did.

He said, “I was before Morocco. He was here with Oranje Under-19 in Zeist and then I spoke with him. We try to keep all the talents for the Oranje, but in the end it is the player’s choice. It keeps us busy. It is about him, but also about others. We showed Mohammed that we think he is a great talent. “

Ihattaren isn’t part of the Netherlands squad that will face Belarus and Germany over the next seven days, while Calvin Stengs is another youngster not selected. Koeman admitted he is interested in the AZ winger, “He is one of the players that we have deliberately followed recently,”

Morocco winger Hakim Ziyech will not be playing in the Atlas Lions' upcoming games against Malawi and Argentina due to a muscle injury.

The team, who have already qualified for the African Cup of Nations, will face Malawi in a qualifier away on Friday, before meeting Argentina in friendly four days later in Tangier.

The 25-year-old sustained an injury during his side's 1-0 loss to Alkmaar in a Dutch league game on Sunday.

Ziyech has produced many fine displays with Ajax this season, helping his side reach the UEFA Champions league quarterfinals at the expense of defending champions Real Madrid.

He has scored 14 goals and provided 12 in 21 league appearances so far this season.

Reports have said that Premier League club Chelsea are showing interest in the player.

Ziyech, who started his international career in October 2015, has 23 caps and has scored 12 international goals.

Hassania Agadir beat Moroccan rivals RS Berkane 1-0 at Stade Adrar in Agadir on Sunday afternoon to confirm their place in the knockout stages of the 2019 Caf Confederations Cup.

The result moved HUSA up to second in Group A, three points behind Berkane who had already sealed their spot in the quarter-finals as group winners last weekend.

Defending champions Raja Casablanca duly bow out of the competition despite their emphatic 4-1 win over Congolese club AS Otôho at the same time. The Green Eagles first win of the group stage campaign proving too little too late.

HUSA opened the scoring in the 26th minute of the match through Youssef Alfahli who latched onto a pass from Mehdi Oubilla.

The goal proved decisive in a match in which the Oranges failed to register a single shot on target. Nonetheless, Berkane advance having accumulated 11 points from six group matches, three more than second placed HUSA.
